One of the rapidest streams in Japan, the “Kuma-gawa river” and the ruin of Hitoyoshi Castle are seen from the open-air bath, which has a bathtub made from pottery.
This Japanese-western-style room with open-air natural hot spring bath (equipped with a twin bed and had 4.5 tatami size) was remodeled in 2012 for a couple of guests. It is on the sixth to eighth floor. You can take an open-air hot spring bath, soaking yourself in the pottery-made bathtub and looking at one of the rapidest streams in Japan, the “Kuma-gawa river” and the ridge of mountains in southern Kyushu.
It is recommended for husband and wife or couples to stay.
